Biography

Tara Sutaria was born on 19 November 1995, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She did her schooling in School of Classical Ballet and Western Dance, Mumbai and she did her graduation in Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing, United Kingdom. She is trained dancer and has received training in dance forms of Classical Ballet, Modern Dance and Latin American Dance from The School of Classical Ballet & Western Dance, Royal Academy of Dance, UK.

Career

Tara did her schooling from Bai Avabai Framji Petit Girl's High School, Mumbai. She completed her graduation from I.S.T.D & St. Andrew's College of Arts, Science and Commerce. Her song Slippin’ Through My Fingers is a part of Ashwin Gidwani Production and then she also played a lead role as Sandy in Raell Padamsee of musical Grease. Then she recorded a solo performance concerts in London, Tokyo, Lavasa and Mumbai. Tara started her career as a video jockey with Disney Channel India TV serial Big Bada Boom in 2010. She is one of the top seven contestants 2008 “Pogo Amazing Kids Awards” in the singer.  Tara was first seen on the Television, in 2009 when she was 13, in the Indian Reality Show, Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Where she performed an Opera and Received a Standing Ovation.

She has also lent her voice for the films like Taare Zameen Par-2007 and Guzarish-2010. She made Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year-2.

She short a song for "Student of the Year with Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Hollywood Star Will Smith.

In the year 2015, Tara was invited to be a part of TEDx in Mumbai, where she gave a performance on The Phantom of the Opera's Think of Me and American Sinegr Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.
